Bormet, himself a former Michigan All-American, spent seven years as the Wolverines' top assistant, including the last four as associate head coach."
"Head coach Joe McFarland announced that he is retiring after 19 seasons at the helm of the University of Michigan wrestling program. McFarland made his announcement Saturday night (March 17) following the conclusion of Michigan's involvement at the 2018 NCAA Championships in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio."
